We are the first company to assist building of rocket stove, massnory heaters in Azerbaijan. This is a stove very well suited for use in rural Azerbijan. Its unice design makes it cheap to produce, easy to build, last for long time, burns clean and efficient. We are also in the prosess of designing a portable model for seasonal removal. Here is a good article on rocket mass heaters at richsoil.com by Paul Wheaton

  1. I have approx. 1550 sq. ft. of living space I currently heat with a free standing wood stove. Can a rocket mass wood heater be constructed to heat that kind of square footage?

    • Hi Dewey, it is hard to answer your question because I need more information. How high is your sealing, how is your climate, what is your house buildt with, how is your floor plan, open or everything seperate. How big is your existing woodstove, how much wood do you run through in a day (weight)? But in general, a rocket stove will be able to replace and do the same work as your existing woodstove if it is designed properly. That means probably having at least 4-5 tons of mass and a 8″ system. I can really recomend Iantos book on RMH if you go ahead with the project. http://www.amazon.com/Rocket-Mass-Heaters-Superefficient-Woodstoves/dp/0966373839.
