Solar collectors are almost unheard of, even thoe the climate is mild enough for large solar fractions to cover the heating bill. The picture shows an experimental unit made with only local supplies. We believe we can produse these localy at a resonable cost. As in any design or new construction there are compromises and these criterias are set to guide us in the development. It is possible to end up with a very good system that just a few can afford, we could still might have a great buisness, but then the environmental impact would be small. Still thousands of villagers in the area outside the cities (but also suprisingly many inside the cities) relays only on wood for their space heating. Most of the wood heat goes directly out the chimney due to bad combustion. This combined with badly insulated houses, makes the winters feel like a long, cold and unproductive season, where many people spend as much time as possible in their bed.

The ecosystem of the Hirkan National Park, belongs to the Caspian Hyrcanian (Girkan) mixed forestsecoregion, an area of lush deciduousbroadleaved lowland and montane forests (subtropical and temperate rainforests) that completely cover the Talysh Mountains and partially cover the Lankaran Lowland.
